“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that that blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the LORD’s favor has come.” Luke 4:18 – 19.
This summer, the TVPC youth will have the opportunity to live out the mission of Christ in Grand Rapids Michigan. We will be working with the homeless, the elderly, and children. Grand Rapids a city which needs much love and care and we get to be apart of that this summer.
We will have 3 meetings leading up to the trip, which includes one parent and youth meeting. In addition, we will be organizing fund raising events that all participants are expected help plan and participate.
